Here ye, here ye,
‘Tis the Season to be tipsy. And we have cunningly used this Festive opportunity to have a wee Sherry or two to celebrate DEERSTALKER EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT STILL OFFERED UNTIL 01st JANUARY 2008 – 30% OFF! Click here to enter.
So whether you are currently packing your Sleigh to the rafters with presents, helping a fat man squeeze down a chimney or just feeding Rudolf with the obligatory root vegetables, we urge you not to exhaust yourself before the onslaught of “The Mighty” this coming 21st March. With over 500 signed up so far, the 2009 Deerstalker is set to be another cornucopia of heroic derring-do, exceptional fancy dress and unequivocal drinking prowess.
Bands
Fresh off the back of our last mail, we have had some bands enthusiastically “drum-up” the courage to face the amassed throng at the after-party. We look forward to dancing the night away with you and salute your artistic valour. If anyone else is up for it, then let us know. Live music will form a superb centre-piece of our legendary Deerstalker party tent this coming year.

Bambino Deerstalker Kids’ Event
We asked you last month whether you were interested in a wee trot for the kids. If you have members of your flock who you think would like to run during the day, before the witching hour of your own Challenge, then let us know. We will take a decision on the Bambino Deerstalker event in the New Year. Contact us with your thoughts at info@themightydeerstalker.com
Making it Large
In two years the Mighty Deerstalker has become one of the icons of the running AND adventure calendars. Entries have increased to a level where you will find yourself stood in a sea of steaming singlets, soon to be wading through cold murky waters and ascending and then descending hills of desperate nature. The camaraderie and Tweedy camouflage is strong; the challenge is great and the atmosphere is jovial. The two courses; ‘5k + a bit’ and ‘10k + the rest’ are unchanged and unparalleled anywhere in the UK. Join us for the experience. You will not be alone.
OK, that’s it for now. We’re off to get our Antlers stuck into a few mince pies.
Yo ho ho,
The Laird and his Ghillies
